Summer Daze

(August 25, 2014) - New tour dates in September!

Well...the summer is winding down here in Tennessee, even though it's still ridiculously hot and my little girl went off to kindergarten last week! Ahhhh! I can't believe it! Off she went in her khaki skirt and collared shirt and big girl back pack...so amazing! Quite an adjustment around here...more for mom and dad than for Ivy I think :)

But with the end of summer comes beginning of fall tour dates (I love fall). And I have 3 new dates coming up the first week of September. Sept 3 in Chilliwack, BC, Sept 4 in Cranbrook, BC, and Sept 5 in Spruce Grove, AB. I'm really looking forward to these shows and I'm calling this mini tour a celebration of 20 years in the biz! It will be me and 2 musicians, some old songs some new and a few in between! An intimate setting that will focus on the songs and their words and the stories that go with them.

Summer Tour Dates Added

(April 10, 2014) - New tour dates for this summer have been announced!  

Lisa will be joining country royalty, Pam Tillis & Lorrie Morgan, on the western leg of their Grits & Glamour Tour in June.  Dates will be added to the "Shows" page as they are confirmed.  Says Lisa of the run, "I'm so excited to be joining Pam & Lorrie.  I used to sing songs from both of them when I was getting started in the business, so this will be an honour."

And look for Lisa on the main stage at several of Canada's major music festivals this summer, including Boothill Jamboree (Aug 2), Dauphin CountryFest (Jun 27) & Havelock Country Jamboree (Aug 14)!

LET IT BURN To Be Released September 23

(September 1, 2013) - It's official!  "Let It Burn," the new single from Lisa Brokop, will be released to Canadian radio on September 23rd.

Produced by award-winning singer / songwriter Carolyn Dawn Johnson, "Let It Burn," has become a personal anthem from Brokop.  "This song so perfectly sums up where I am in my life and in my career," says Lisa. "I wrote the song with Carolyn (Dawn Johnson) and Brad (Crisler) just days before hitting the studio for my new project.  It was one of those songs that just came out of nowhere.  I always find those are the best ones. I'm excited for everyone to hear it. Carolyn did an amazing job! We're both so proud of it."

Lisa Set To Perform at CCMA Songwriters' Cafe

(August 19, 2013) - The Canadian Country Music Association is proud to announce several talented performers joining this year’s CCMA Songwriters’ Café series, Presented by SOCAN, which will take place over the course of three days at this year's Country Music Week, September 5-8 in Edmonton, Alberta.  

This year, the CCMA is pleased to welcome both emerging and established songwriters including Lisa Brokop, Tracey Brown & Randall Prescott, Joni Delaurier, Eddie Eastman, Andrea England, Adam Gregory, The Heartbroken, Hey Romeo, Lindi Ortega, Jake Mathews, and Tebey.  They will join the already announced Autumn Hill, The Command Sisters, Jack Connolly, Jaida Dreyer, Livy Jeanne, Keith & Renee, David Leask, Heather Longstaffe, The Lovelocks, Katie Mission, Jess Moskaluke, and Wes Mack.

The CCMA Songwriters' Café features the penning of original tunes and also introduces listeners to some familiar faces behind the music we love. This acoustic in-the-round performance is sure to inspire and evoke some strong emotions and create memorable moments.

Brokop Announces Carolyn Dawn Johnson To Produce

(July 16, 2013) - Nashville, TN – RareSpark Media Group, Inc. singer/songwriter Lisa Brokop is proud to announce Carolyn Dawn Johnson as co-producer for her upcoming project.

“I have been a fan of CDJ since she first came on the music scene in 2000,” says Brokop of her new producer.  "She is an amazing singer/songwriter, and equally talented as a producer! Lisa Brokop Inks New Record Deal
