I'm in Vancouver right now visiting some family. I got here a few days ago. The day I arrived, my Mom picked me up just south of the US border to take me back across to Surrey. I had my passport and other documents in my usual travel pouch that I showed to the customs officer at the border crossing. After we were through the check point I put them beside me on my seat in the car and then we stopped at a Tim Hortons ('cause that's the first thing you do when you get to Canada right?) and in my weariness of a long travel day I got out of the car and didn't realize that my coat had knocked my documents out of the car onto the ground. So I got my turkey bacon club from Tim's and off we went. The next day I got a call from an RCMP officer saying they had my passport and documents and that someone found them and turned them in. Thank God! I got lucky on that one! And so whoever that person was that found it, THANK YOU!! It's nice to know that there are still some good people in the world...
